Policies


Cancellations

Last minute cancellations have a tremendous negative impact for our stylists, salon, and clients.

If you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment you will be subject to a $100 fee. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment you will be charged a minimum of 50% of your service fee. If you do not call and do not show up you will be charged the full-service fee. If you cancel within any of our cancellation policy time frames and your service fee is less than $100, you will be charged your full service fee. These policies only apply if we are unable to fill the cancelled appointment.

If you card on file is not up to date and we are not contact you we will apply a negative balance to your account to be paid before booking your next appointment.

Please understand that we keep these policies in place to protect our salon, team members, and our clients. It is incredibly difficult to get a desired appointment day/time, and when stylists miss out on an appointment, their clients do as well.

Late Arrivals

If you know that you are going to be late, we kindly ask that you call ahead so that we can better assess the situation. We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals, please note that your service may need to be adjusted or rescheduled depending on the time of your arrival and service booked. Some examples of an adjustment would be skipping the blow-dry or your stylist stepping away to take their next client then finish your service. This will of course be communicated to you. If we must reschedule your service to a different day there will be a fee.

Appointment Confirmations

As a courtesy we send out electronic appointment conformations 2 days before your appointment. If you do not receive a confirmation please check your account online with MINDBODY. Please review all your appointment details when confirming. Technology is not always perfect so we ask that you not rely on the confirmations alone. You are ultimately responsible for your appointment as scheduled. Thank you.

Refunds

Stilisti does not extend refunds on services rendered. Your first visit and all color changes may require multiple services that day or within 2 weeks of the initial service as there is no way for us to know exactly how your hair will react to the process. If you are not pleased with your hair we welcome you to contact us immediately so that we can schedule a complementary alteration within 10 days of the service provided. f you see a higher tier stylist there could be an additional fee based on their expertise. Any adjustments after the initial 10 days are subject to a fee. Products may be exchanged with a receipt within 30 days. GHD styling irons have a 1 year warranty with their companies; please register them on their website.

Redos

We do not issue refunds on services provided. We will happily make any adjustments on services provided within the first 10 days free of charge with the original stylist. If you see a higher tier stylist there could be an additional fee based on their expertise. Any adjustments after the initial 10 days are subject to a fee.

Payment For Services and Products

Discover, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Check are accepted. Please note that there is a $50 bounced check fee. ***If you wish to use Cash we accept exact change only, the front desk will not be able to make change.

Tipping

We are unable to make change so please come prepared with exact change or if you prefer to tip electronically our team is on the Venmo App. To view tipping guidelines, please click here.

Meter Parking and Garages

We are not able to feed meters, please us the ParkBoston App. On street parking is limited to 2 hours. Even if your meter is refilled you could still receive a ticket. Stilisti is not responsible for any parking tickets incurred. We encourage parking at one of the nearby garages listed below for services longer then 1 hour.

Children At The Salon

This environment contains many factors that can be dangerous for children. In the event that you must bring your child into the salon, please keep your children seated with you at all times; no running, yelling, hanging from chairs, sofas, windows, etc. For the safety and comfort of everyone, children under 12 are discouraged unless they are receiving a service.

If your child is watching a video or playing a game we ask that they use headphones as not to disturb our other guests.

Pets

There are no pets allowed in the salon due to Massachusetts State Law. It is a Health Code Violation that we cannot overlook.

Proper Attire

We ask that you disrobe from the waist up and change into the robe provided. Stilisti cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by hair color, etc.

Personal Items

We are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged valuables.

Please Use Caution

• Due to products and hair, floor may become slippery
• Coffee and tea can be very hot

Cell Phones and Electronics

We require all electronic devices be silenced upon entering Stilisti and that necessary conversation be kept to a level that is respectful to our other guests. If you need to make a call or listen to a message or video please use your earbuds as not to disturb others guests.
